In a context of growth we are opening a new position in our finance Team.

 

As Collection manager your next missions :

You will be in charge of improving payment rate and reduce payment time.

More specifically, you will be responsible for :

• 
  Fine-tuning our automated payment reminder system to keep it running smoothly
• Collaborating with external debt collection agencies to achieve optimal results (steering by results KPI)
• Working closely with our in-house legal team on complex cases
• Reaching out to customers (B2B & B2C) with a problem-solving approach to resolve outstanding debts 
• Be creative in suggesting innovative ways to improve our collection processes.(changes to the General Terms and Conditions, upstream scoring, product developments)
• Participate occasionally in customer accounting tasks, demonstrating versatility. (payment lettering, production of account statements, etc.).

The scope may cover several countries (Europe and/or US) and will focus german-speaking countries


Expected skills:

• 🔧 Fluent in English & German
• 🔧 2 years university degree or business school
• 🔧 2 years of professional experiences in finance or business, 
• 🔧 1st experience in collection management is a plus, or at least you want to become a debt collection expert
• 🔧 Excellent computer proficiency with MS Office especially with Excel
• 🔧 Ability to work independently and complete assignments in accordance with instructions given, prescribed routines and accepted standard practices
• 🔧 Ability to negotiate with customers
