Metal Trading is a family-run business based near Paris, specialising in trading non-ferrous metals ⛓️

The company began trading in 1990, and is specialised in zinc ingots and zinc residues for a long time.

Metal Trading's objective

Alexandra, Manager Scrap Trading Europe at Metal Trading, contacted the recruitment agency MisterBilingue to find a Junior Trader.

Metal Trading's objective is to find someone who speaks German to manage sales and purchases of non-ferrous scrap metal in Germany and German-speaking countries.

The position offered by Metal Trading

The role of the Junior Trader is to maintain relations with customers and suppliers and to develop new partnerships, while keeping abreast of market trends and dynamics, prices, demand etc.

The profile we are looking for must meet the following criteria:

Our support

Since February, Metal Trading has been looking for a trilingual person in German, French and English, able to manage German-speaking customers.

Anaelle, recruitment expert at MisterBilingue, was in charge of finding the best profiles for the company.

The recruitment process

Once a candidate has been found, the first step is to conduct an initial interview with our recruiter to find out what the candidate's expectations are, and whether his or her profile matches those of the customer.

Once the necessary prerequisites have been met, the candidate profile is sent to the customer.

The candidate first has a video interview with the Scrap Trading Europe Manager. This is followed by a second interview at Metal Traiding's offices to assess the candidate's level of English and German. The candidate then finishes the interview with a case study ✍️
