How DAYUSE recruited a Dutch and English-speaker Account Manager πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡³πŸ‡±

Dayuse is the leader in daytime hotel reservations. 🏨

Its aim is to enable its customers to enjoy a hotel room during the day, at the best price, as well as the various spaces and services traditionally offered by hoteliers.

The service, accessible via the website and app, is now available in 25 countries from 7,000 partner hotels. 🌍

DAYUSE's objective

Guillaume, HR Director at Dayuse, contacted the recruitment agency MisterBilingue to find a trilingual French, English and Dutch Account Manager.

Dayuse's objective is to strengthen its teams working on the UK and Dutch markets.

The DAYUSE position

The role of the Account Manager is to detect and implement opportunities with the aim of increasing Dayuse's sales.

The profile sought must meet the following criteria:

  • Bilingual in Dutch and English (minimum level C1) πŸ‡³πŸ‡±πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  • Have initial experience in customer portfolio management πŸ’Ό
  • Be dynamic, proactive and flexible πŸ’ͺ
  • Have a strong taste for multicultural environments 🌍

Our support

Since April, Dayuse has been looking for someone capable of managing the needs of the group's customers and building their loyalty.

Nicolas, recruitment expert at MisterBilingue, was in charge of finding the best profiles for the company.

After a full briefing with the customer, Nicolas was able to start his search (sourcing and hunting 🎯 ) using our specialized tools. Once talent has been identified and has undergone a structured interview with our recruiter, Nicolas draws up a shortlist and forwards it to the customer within 14 days. Our support doesn't stop here: our team monitors the progress of the candidate's interviews right up to the point of hiring. A follow-up is also put in place to ensure that the position is taken up as smoothly as possible.

The recruitment process

Once the candidate has been identified, the first step is to organize an initial video interview with our recruiter, enabling us to understand their expectations and determine whether their profile matches the customer's needs.

Once the necessary prerequisites have been met, the candidate's profile is forwarded to the customer.

Once the candidate has attracted the customer's attention, the latter records a video of him/her for an interview on a platform to test his/her language skills.

The candidate then has an initial interview with the Dayuse manager, followed by a final interview with the HR manager.

Thanks to several discussions with the customer and a thorough search, Nicolas was able to find the ideal candidate for the job: Louis D., trilingual Account Manager in French, Dutch and English πŸ‡³πŸ‡±πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Louis is originally from Flanders and has followed an academic career focused on real estate. He completed a Bachelor's degree in this field. During his studies, he spent 6 months on exchange in Barcelona, where he was able to practice his English on a daily basis.

On his return, he worked for over two years as a real estate agent in Belgium, during which time he did a lot of prospecting.

Dayuse welcomed Louis in June 2024 as a trilingual French/English/Dutch Account Manager! πŸŽ‰
