How Daylily recruited a French and English-speaker Sales Assistant πŸ‡«πŸ‡·πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Daylily Paris is a skincare brand 100% dedicated to pregnancy and breastfeeding 🀱

Since 2015, it has been supporting expectant and new mothers with kindness during this so precious period that is motherhood, by creating cleansing, sensorial and effective skincare for a serene pregnancy πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Daylily is also a committed company that limits its ecological impact by offering products based on ingredients and active ingredients of natural origin averaging 96%, developed and produced in France 🌱

Daylily's goal

Audrey, founder of Daylily, contacted the recruitment agency MisterBilingue to find a Sales Assistant.

Daylily's aim is to find someone who is ready to help develop the brand and support its business.

The position offered by Daylily

The role of the Sales Assistant is to follow up BtoB customers, seek out and follow up specifiers and manage BtoB and BtoC after-sales services.

The profile sought must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a native French speaker with a basic knowledge of English πŸ‡¨πŸ‡΅πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  • Be self-motivated, autonomous, rigorous, organised and have good interpersonal skills πŸ‘₯
  • Have 1 to 3 years' experience in administrative management
  • Have a good command of the Office Suite (Excel, Power Point) πŸ’»
  • Have an interest in the world of cosmetics and/or maternity 🀰🏼

Our support

Since early May, Daylily was looking for someone to support the founder and the team in commercial and cross-functional tasks, such as creating the newsletter.

Alexandra, a recruitment expert at MisterBilingue, was responsible for finding the best profiles for the company.

After a full briefing with the client, Alexandra was able to start her search (sourcing and hunting 🎯 ) using our specialist tools. Once talent has been identified and has undergone a structured interview with our recruiter, Alexandra draws up a shortlist and sends it to the client within 14 days. Our support doesn't stop there: our team monitors the progress of the candidate's interviews right up to the point of hiring. Follow-up is also put in place to ensure that the position is taken up as smoothly as possible.

The recruitment process

Once the candidate has been identified, the first step is to organise an initial video interview with our recruiter, so that we can understand their expectations and determine whether their profile matches the client's needs.

Then, as soon as the necessary prerequisites have been met, the candidate's profile is sent to the customer.

The candidate then carries out a situational simulation, before doing an interview with the founder of Daylily.

The talent offered by MisterBilingue

Thanks to several discussions with the client and an in-depth search, Alexandra was able to find the ideal candidate for the job: Fleur O., Bilingual Sales Assistant in French and English πŸ‡¨πŸ‡΅πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Fleur has developed skills in both B2B and B2C during her professional career πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»

With a degree in International Commerce, Fleur was able to undertake several internships in both sales and marketing during her studies. Her last work placement at L'Occitane enabled her to continue working for the company on a fixed-term contract, and to carry out a number of tasks: merchandising, monitoring deliveries to the shops, training sales assistants, and so on. Following her gap year, during which she took the time to travel, she wanted to resume her career in the cosmetics sector πŸ’…

With good interpersonal skills, Fleur is also a proactive person with good stress resistance.

Daylily welcomed Fleur in May 2024 as a bilingual English/French Sales Assistant! πŸŽ‰
