How Crazy Voyages recruited a bilingual German and English Business Developer πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Crazy Voyages is an online travel agency specialising in stag and hen parties.

By offering the best destinations in Europe to their French, English, German, Italian and Spanish customers, they have established themselves as the European leader with over 25,000 customers by 2022, and a turnover of 5 million euros.

Crazy Voyages's objective

To find a Business Developer quickly, Kevin Cartigny, Sales Manager at Crazy Voyages, contacted the recruitment agency MisterBilingue.

Crazy Voyages' objective is to expand its team and consolidate its presence on the German market.

The position offered by Crazy Voyages

The role of the Business Developer is to find and evaluate new commercial agreements that are profitable for the company. This business development manager acts as a real entrepreneur at the service of the company's other departments.

The profile we are looking for must meet the following criteria:

  • Bilingual in German and English πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  • Good communicator πŸ—£οΈ
  • Organised πŸ—“οΈ
  • Have some initial sales experience 🀝

Our support

Since December, Crazy Voyages has been looking for someone who is bilingual in English and German to be able to put together the best tours in Germany. In particular, they needed to fill this position very quickly, which was a real challenge for our recruiter in charge of this assignment πŸ’ͺ

Nicolas, recruitment expert at MisterBilingue, was in charge of finding the best profiles for the company.

After a full briefing with the client, Nicolas can begin his search (sourcing and hunting 🎯 ) using our specialist tools. Once talent has been identified and interviewed by our recruiter, Nicolas draws up a shortlist and sends it to the client within 14 days. Our support doesn't stop there: our team monitors the progress of the candidate's interviews right through to recruitment. A follow-up is also put in place to ensure that the position is taken up as smoothly as possible.

The recruitment process

Once a candidate has been found, the first step is to conduct an initial interview with our recruiter to find out what the candidate's expectations are, and whether his or her profile matches those of the customer.

Once the necessary prerequisites have been met, the candidate profile is sent to the customer.

After a telephone call with Kevin, a final face-to-face interview is organised to confirm that the candidate's profile is a good match for the job.

The talent proposed by MisterBilingue

Thanks to several discussions with the client and an in-depth search, Nicolas was able to find the ideal candidate for the job in less than a month: Fatima-Elise S., bilingual Business Developer in German and English πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Fatima-Elise arrived in France 2 years ago. After some experience in the hostessing and secretarial fields, she went on to work as a freelance Graphic Designer. Her most recent experience lasted 10 months, when she was Customer Care for Comdata, dealing mainly with German- and English-speaking customers. This enabled her to develop a good sense of customer relations in an international environment. Fatima-Elise is a smiling, calm person with good interpersonal skills.

Crazy Voyages welcomed Fatima-Elise in January 2024 as a bilingual German/English Business Developer! πŸŽ‰
