How Cotton Bird recruited a bilingual German layout artist

How did Cotton Bird recruit a bilingual German layout artist?

Birthdays, weddings, christenings, Cotton Bird follows its customers in all the events of their life. Thanks to its stationery design and printing workshop created in 2011, the group offers unique creations as sharp as original, 100% made in France!

The growing company now has a turnover of over 20 million euros and thousands of customers across Europe thanks to its commitment. Its promise? "Enchanting life's events with exceptional stationery and products".

In order to continue its development in Germany and Austria, Cotton Bird called upon Mister Bilingue.

The target profile

The group was therefore looking for a new DTP designer/graphic artist who was bilingual in German and French to join its team exclusively dedicated to the German market.

Prerequisites:

  • 3 years of higher education as a graphic designer or layout artist
  • Bilingual in German and French
  • Knowledge of the digital world, the rules of publishing and the graphic chain
  • Mastery of Adobe Suite software

The HR service chosen by the Cotton Bird team

In order to find the German-speaking candidate they were looking for, the team chose to call upon MisterBilingue - recruitment agency. Indeed, Cotton Bird is particularly concerned about respecting its production line and its brand identity. Margaux, our recruitment consultant, did everything possible to find the ideal profile for the graphic processing of customer orders. In addition, Cotton Bird could count on MisterBilingue not having an exclusivity clause; in fact, if the company wanted to hire another recruitment firm for this position, it was perfectly possible!

MisterBilingue's multilingual talent

Margaux's search paid off and she found the perfect German talent for the job: Anaïs Philippe, a graphic design graduate. Her adaptability and her thirst for learning mentioned in her CV were conclusive for her recruitment.

"With a degree in graphic design, my rich and varied background has made me a resourceful person with good adaptability who is always eager to learn new concepts."

Anaïs has been making models at Cotton Bird for 2 months now and has adapted perfectly to her work environment!
