I have a background in Marketing, Political Science, Communication, Influence and Lobbying. I have previously worked in an agency and have been able to build a team.
How did you find a job in this company?
I saw multiple interesting job offers in Paris, but I wanted to find one in Lyon and I found this offer on MisterBilingue.com. Then, I had an interview with a consultant from MisterBilingue and went through the full Padam Mobility recruitment process, which validated my profile.
How would you rate your previous experiences? How did they benefit you?
I have performed tasks that required high standards, autonomy and versatility.
My experience as a Marketing Manager at Lex Persona has allowed me to learn a lot about marketing and business in general.
Did you encounter any difficulties in your job search? If so, what were they?
I didn’t encounter any difficulties, I was lucky enough to be at ease when speaking. The interviews went easily for me.
How did you imagine the Marketing Manager position at Padam Mobility? Was it true to life?
The job description was quite detailed in the advertisement so it was easy for me to imagine the job. My official job description is exactly the advert I applied for, so it is really true to life.
Was the recruitment process similar to your previous experiences?
I found the recruitment process to be a little more intense than what I was used to in the past.
I had several interviews with MisterBilingue and Padam Mobility, and in addition to these interviews, there was a case study to complete.
What aspect of the everyday French life do you think is the most surprising or difficult for an expat to adapt to?
I think it is difficult to adapt to the French language in general. It is difficult to understand the different levels of discussion, especially in business with remote working.
What is your favourite French tradition?
I generally enjoy all dishes with cheese, especially fondue and raclette.
Culture is really diverse here in France, where's a good place to buy typical French food?
The bouchons lyonnais, which are typical French restaurants and which allow one to understand the French tradition. These restaurants represent France just like every French person knows it.
